A LESSON!

This sweet mother taught me a lesson as soon as I looked in her face.
Joyce is 30 years old,a mother of four children and now God blesses her with 3 more at once. Her husband is a poor fisherman. For some reason, the nurse who assists me in the ward with WIC ministry told me I had to go into the premature babies' room because there was a woman who needed me. I went in and there she was with her three babies in incubators, they were very tiny and lovely,Joyce is a poor woman, and very needy,BUT,she was very happy ,  the wide smile she had on her face and the joy was even in her voice,JOYCE WAS SO GRATEFUL AND THANKFUL TO GOD  for her babies.
While I kept on wondering how she was going to take care of these three angels and provide for them,Joyce seemed not to worry about anything, all she had was " Thank you God",WOW!
The Spirit of God whispered in my ears about being thankful to God in all things.

We talked and I prayed for Joy and her babies. she thanked me for praying for her babies.Joyce did not know that I was going to bring gifts for her and her babies,so when we later came back with Jeff (my husband) all loaded with gifts for Joyce and her babies, she could not believe her own eyes. Joyce was shouting,I had to try hard and make her control her voice because there were other mothers with sick babies there and the nurses were attending to them. Joyce then opens up and tells Jeff and I that, her babies didn't have clothes,no blankets,no sheets, they were jut wrapped in towels. She told us  this after she received the gifts which included three baby blankets that looked all the same, and baby sheets, baby clothes, baby soap, baby hats, baby socks, bibs, soap for her a Bible all packed in a pink bag,and milk for her babies ohhhhhh I was very glad to deliver that to her,and she was to happy to control her happiness.Well , I had seen the babies covered in towels and some of the mother's shawl I thought it was intended to keep them warm, less did I know that it was because these angels did not have clothes and blankets to use.
Joyce has no worries, only thanking God for remembering her,He sent clothes for her babies to keep warm.A lesson to learn.Thanking instead of worrying.
Thank you all the people who sent stuff for WIC to be able to function sufficiently.May God remember you.

ALL THE WAY WITH CHRIST

After such a long time without writing anything in this blog.I feel like I have left most of my friends and partners miles behind.I am sorry for that,it is just that there was a lot happening in WIC and lots of progress in the way ministry need to be done.

Thank you all for standing with me in whatever way you have stood.I am so very grateful in everything. God bless you.
this blog is just to update you on what we have been doing of late.Relax and smile take in the testimonies and glorify God with me.
WIC faced two (2) unique cases of late.I call them unique because it involved the youngest women I have met so far in crisis. One of the cases is of a girl called Perusi. She is 16 years old,and mentally not healthy. Someone took advantage of Perusi's state and raped her leaving her pregnant and infected with HIV too.
This young mother comes from a family of about 6 other siblings and their mother in disabled.God gave Perusi a very beautiful baby girl.By the grace of God,WIC was able to talk and counsel Perusi, she gave her life to Christ. Perusi and baby Sophie are fine now.Thank you Team Uganda .

The 2nd case was of a 15 year old girl ,an orphan and with no family members to help er apart from sympathizing neighbors .WIC was very happy to help also Christine. Thank you everyone who stood with us to help Christine see Jesus in her life. She too gave her life to Christ Jesus.Thank you the Sundoulos Team.

This week we had Magdalana. She has a baby boy.
Magdalana was short of almost everything when WIC found her.She was laying by her baby on a plain mattress with no bed sheets on,her baby wrapped in a very old bed sheet with no clothes on. Magdalana's mother was taking care of her and the baby.
Gifts from WIC to Magdalana.
Bubba all dressed up and warm.
When I talked to them, they were speaking Swahili and giving the nurses hard time to understand what they were saying.
It was fun for a moment to work as an interpreter :D i loved it. We talked and i prayed with Magdalana and I left to bring the necessities. Magdalana was very happy when I showed up loaded with gifts for her and her baby to keep warm and clean. :D in a matter of minutes the baby was all dressed wow. and the grandma could hardly stop looking at her grandchild all smart .The joy on their faces could express the joy inside them. By the time we left there Magdalana was very happy and her baby very warm and she had medication and she was blessing God .
Thank you everyone who has given towards this. Nothing is ever too little to help someone. To put a smile on a woman who is in crisis. To bring hope to the hopeless.
God bless you and do not get weary of doing good.
