A LONG WALK.

14 year old Goreti receiving pink bag
Women Of Busia receiving paper cutter.
It has been a very long walk .The only way you can know it has been a long walk is when you stop ,look back and see how far you have come.yes.HOPE FOR WOMAN IN CRISIS took a look back and this is how far we have come.Last week we made 1 year of ministry and dedication.Celebrate with us because you have been there and you got our back .I bless God for all of you that are faithfully supporting this ministry. You labor is not in vain.Since 13 August 2012 to today a lot of lives have been saved, provided for, received treatment, transport, food,so many babies have been covered and kept warm,so many hopes have been restored. This is what the Lord does, through you.And another branch of HOFWIC has been born in Busia a district far from Jinja. All this in one year.say praise the Lord with me.
THIS IS HOW WE DECIDED TO CELEBRATE OUR ANNIVERSARY.
Teenage mothers with pink bags
We went to celebrate this with our teenage mothers in Busia. These are girls that HOPE FOR WOMAN IN CRISIS has been helping through counselling, teaching, loving, and providing maternity stuff for.yes they are between 14 and 21 years old. Most of these girls had a hopeless attitude when I first met them, they had given up on life and thought that is the end of everything. The boys or men who made them pregnant dumped them and even their own families abandoned them, most of them were thinking of abortion as a better option.God helped me talk to them, and teach them the love of Christ, and the truth about abortion and how God sees their babyeven taught them how to talk with their babies in their wombs. These girls begun smiling and we could see the joy of the Lord in these girls. So 4 months later HOFWIC goes back to Busia to celebrate with these victorious teenage girls and guess what we find.most of them had their babies, beautiful babies and a few are still carrying their precious babies in their wombs. This is the power of love, this is what love can do,these girls all received the packages of pink bag from HOFWIC,and we know it was worth it.
we can do all things thru Christ.
Testimonies were so encouraging, the eldery women in Busia had also given up due to too much porverty. HOFWIC encouraged them by teaching them the greatness of God and how to work with their own hands instead of begging, guess what we found, the ladies went on with their paper beading, tailoring, and farming. There is more life in Busia now in the small village called Bulangi than there was death before we discovered this beautiful people.
Throuh your donations,we are able to run these mission trips here, pay for our lodging, feeding, transportation, and even donate to these people. They women received a paper cutting machine from HOFWIC,to help them fight their biggest enemy "POVERTY" that is taking their lives day and night.clothes for the mothers, children, elderly men,and teachings. The 3 days we spent in Busia was worth all the cost.Thank you for giving and do not stop because we need to have more mission trips to Busia and it is costly.
Our Team  of Busia Mission Trip
We visited 2 health centers that are extremely needy and we were able to give the mothers clothes blankets, sheets, soap for their babies and more stuff that you donate for the poor. may God bless you. Here is the situation in Bulangi village(Busia):Pregnant mothers have to walk for about 2 kilometers in labor pain to go to the far health center because the health center near them has no lights to help them have their babies.and the in-charge of the health center told us that they loose so many mothers on the way because the cant make it there. We found one 2 month old baby boy whose mother died on the way walking to the hospital to give birth to him.He is alive staying with his grand mother but no mother. We also found a pair of twins whose mother also died on the way to the hospital ,this is terrible,we found a list of 4 women who died in two weeks trying to walk to the hospital. This brings tears yes I know it does. I couldn't imagine walking that distance while in pain.

It Has been a Long Walk
But One encouraging thing is that, there is something that can be done to stop this,at least to reduce this.Thank God there is hope. The nearer health center only needs a solar power to be able to help these beautiful people. It has the delivery beds, the admission beds, and a few stuff that can save a life.If you can donate towards this worthy cause please do it without restraint.we need about 2000$ to help this health center get power and good set up to help them run and help their community, they have a willing staff that still avails themselves in such a situation.
Our Mission trip to Busia was very successful, this was because you gave and you are giving.I am so excited about our next one year in this.I know we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
I love you all with the love of Christ. My fellow partners and friends thank you for being such a strong power behind me,I can not mention all your names but my heart is so very grateful. You too can join us and help show the love of Christ to all these people who have lost hope.Your donetion can help a woman receive treatment, save a life, dress a baby, transport them back home, feed them while in the hospital, transport us for mission trips to Busia, buy a wheel chair for Olivia, and train a mother in hand skills so they can escape the grip of poverty. We are a strong team together,do not give up.
Olivia needs a wheel chair.
